Opportunity to buy seeds at a discount
Through a link to the Kimble and Ellesborough Horticultural society allotment holders can take advantage of discounts on seeds and other horticultural items from Suttons and Thompson and Morgan.
Both companies issue a unique order code which must be quoted whenever an order is placed by phone, post or online. Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively. The codes can be used throughout the year as many times as you wish.
Both Suttons and Thomson & Morgan are offering us a discount of 50% off seeds and 20% off live products (potatoes, garlic, shallots, onions, plants, bulbs and fruit) from both companies. No paper catalogues now, just go to their websites.
The code for Suttons is SUGS197M and must be quoted when ordering by phone (0844 736 4208) or online (www.suttons.co.uk).
The code for Thompson & Morgan is TM_GT144M to be quoted on orders by phone (0844 573 1818) or online (www.thompson-morgan.com).

There are two allotment gardening stores near Wendover that are worth looking at :-
Aylesbury Gardening Society’s Thurston Store is a local source for a wide range of items at good prices. Seed potatoes can be ordered (in October) and good discounts can be had on seeds from Sutton’s and DT Brown (order by early December)
Slightly further afield the Dagnall Gardener’s Society Store is worth a trip, it has some items not stocked in the Aylesbury Store. Note this is only open mid February to end November.
Dunsley Farming Tring will deliver full or half loads of manure to the allotments, but make sure that the main gate is open before you arrange a delivery date ! They can be contacted on 01442 823357.
