What we Expect From You

  • Only grow vegetables, fruit and flowers for your use, they cannot be sold to others. You can give to charities.
  • Keep your plot free from flowering weeds. These easily spread to other plots and then cause problems for others.
  • You should cultivate over 70% of your plot area. If you do choose to leave an area uncultivated, if you cover it then please use a proper weed suppressing fabric, not carpet!
  • You must keep the grass paths and edges around your plot tidy, also any adjacent hedges & trees.
  • Compost organic materials in proper bins or frames and remove any litter or broken glass from the site.
  • Get approval for any new structure (shed etc.) on your plot before you build it!
  • Use the water tanks to fill containers, not for washing tools or vegetables.
  • Light a bonfire only when the materials are dry enough, after 6pm or dusk (whichever is earlier) and never leave it unattended.
  • Children under 16 on the site must be supervised by an adult.
  • Dogs should be on a lead and not allowed to stray.
  • No poultry, pets livestock or bees can be kept on an allotment.
  • Please Contact Us if you have any concerns or a suggestion how we might improve our site for everyone to enjoy
